I used to have links for downloading ancient video games, but these sites don't last forever... something about distributing copyrighted material without permission, I suppose. If you just search for "Emulators" or "Mario Bros ROMs" or "MAME Tempest", you'll find a whole heap of related sites. For arcade games, get the MAME (Multi Arcade Machine Emulator) program and then get ROMs for the individual games. Similarly, for home systems you need to download the (say) Atari application and then get each game separately. Many sites will have either the emulators or the ROMs but not both; the copyright owners don't get as peeved, I guess. |

Anyway, here are some sites... |

| Here are some semi-random links. Some are official gubmink types, some are subversive non-gubmink types. I'll spare you the mathematics, education, and standardized testing stuff. | ![]() |
| US Bureau of Engraving
&c.: New design and security features! Project Gutenberg: ascii files of books in the public domain. US Copyright Office: The other shoe drops. Home Network Security: Should I really download "virus.exe"? Social Security Numbers: How not to make up a fake one. |

In Memoriam: V66, WVJV-TV, 1985-86. Boston Rock Video. Some nutty folks have got themselves a V66 site. Compare notes with all of the other goobs who watched the videos that really mattered. Um, and I stole this sticker pitcher from the site. Please and Thank you. |

| Tom Sch*lz recorded that Boston record, then had to find a rock band. Meet Joel Mellin's Boston. What's more, Stephanie was Joel's next door neighbor one summer and dyed his hair black in her apartment with the short doors, and Joel hit his head on the frame and left behind a half-moon of black. You can visit the Mellin brothers' Stereorrific Records. | ![]() |

| Jake appears to be my most ardent fan, which may or may not be a point in his favor. I mean, look at his mindless devotion to all that he holds dear. He did get me on the Recommended Music List, though, where I currently own a mark of 13-4, which would be pretty good were I a football club. Actually, I'm surprised that 17 people bothered to vote; I'd say that at least 11 or 12 of them don't know me personally. | ![]() |

Visit Joe's house
of musings and computational conceptions. Lots to see and do. Possibly
too much, if you're used to a site like mine that updates once or twice
a year.

| If you haven't been watching Survey Says! on public access Channel 15, you've been missing out. I run a camera or ring bells and buzzers occasionally. I won like 4 games in a row on the Press Your Luck program, and then hadda dress up as the Whammy. Check your local listings. | ![]() |
